Is it just me or are you SO excited for Christmas? I may have even wanted to answer my phone by saying...."This is Buddy, what's your favorite color?" (reference to the movie Elf)
I feel pretty stinkin' bad that I haven't blogged as much. Trust me, I have tons to say and write about but I am learning that enjoying life and embracing every moment with my family is so much more important. While I love sharing what we are up to with our family around the world and networking with other sweet women on here.....I want to make sure that I am enjoying every minute possible with my family. As a working mom, time is more precious than anything.
This week, I have plans to blog every...single...day because I have the chance to and it's easy peasy to blog while the kids are asleep since they are enjoying sleeping in late!!!
I guess I will start with the beginning of November to now....
I started off the month at an amazing Region 10 counseling conference. It was so fun hanging out with sweet counselors in my district and learning some pretty amazing things!!! Starting the day off with coffee and fall weather was kinda perfect!
The second Saturday was full of fun! We volunteer with Forney's 2nd Saturday which is put on by The Forney Arts Council. We do story time, a craft, and dress up. It was a little windy and we couldn't stay as long but it was fun while it lasted. If you're ever in downtown Forney on the 2nd Saturday of the month...you have to check it out! It is pretty fun and full of vendors that have handcrafted, unique items!
Afterwards, we headed to our neighborhood Fall Festival which was amazing and we were so impressed with all that they had. The kids may have had the best day of their lives. Grayson beamed the whole pony ride and Ella loved getting her face "spray painted."

We also spent lots of time with our family!! Lauren and I headed to the Groovy's party, Groovy's is one of our favorite stores! We went to check out Bass Pro Shop's Chirstmas fun with Nana, Lauren, and Sawyer and loved having Young Grandma over for a visit. We enjoyed having my niece, Olivia, spend the night and of course fun visits at Papa and Nana's and Pawpaw and Mimi's.

Speaking of family, one of the most exciting things this month was welcoming a new nephew into the family! My brother, Jordan, and his wife added to their family with sweet Falcon Clark. Vann is a pretty proud big brother. I swear being an aunt to 6 kiddos and 1 more on the way in March is pretty wonderful. We love each and every one of them!
And yes...we are those people that everyone complains about who put their Christmas stuff up before Thanksgiving. I will say though it is a lot of work. Our thinking is if it takes that much work then we sure are going to enjoy it as long as we can! We also wanted to have it all done so we could help our families if they needed any help! So, the 3rd week of November, Christmas visited our house! This is our first Christmas in the new house and we were a little anxious. I will do a post with more pictures closer to December! One thing we struggled with is the fact that last year I just had to have a 12 ft tree. Luckily, Joey found one the day after Christmas at Home Depot on sale. I was so excited but when we put that rascal up we may have panicked. 12 feet is much taller than I had thought and it practically takes up our sitting area but the kids love it...and that's what matters. We definitely learned lessons to help with next year but I have to give a big thanks to Joey who put that monster up!!

In other big news....Grayson lost his first tooth!!! I may have cried....a little. He has the sweetest smile ever now!!!!
Between all of this....we have enjoyed La Madeline lunch dates, school fun, and lots of cuddles!

Before I go, I have to share pictures from today. With the Thanksgiving break here....we assigned each kiddo a day and let them plan something for our family. Ella chose to go to "the mall with a big tree to play." We headed to the galleria and they played at the indoor playground for maybe forever, we ate lunch, shopped, and they watched people skate. They said they enjoyed the massage chairs at Brookstone the most. Grayson's day is Tuesday and I can't wait to share his plans.
